Furniture Acrobatics - Part 1

I've always been known to prefer photographing furniture outdoors for lighting reasons. In public places this can make for awkward glances, etc. But when I then start printing the pieces are acrobats from Cirque de Soleil, then things start to get interesting...

I'll bet these vintage pieces here are thinking, "I'm too old for this @#5$*!".

Bye Bye Borders. May You R.I.P.

You may soon discover that I have many sideshow interests that inspire my work in peculiar ways. One is my intense fascination with cast off technologies or objects/entities that have been discarded by society. I've been known to photograph old T.V's or furniture laying in the street or rows of old VCR's in a thrift store. I'm basically a Culture Vulture, feeding of what's been left for dead by everyone else. I still see value in the worthless and wonder "What could I make with this?" It makes me start guessing where this consumer coaster is headed.

We can learn...

4 Hands Are Better than 2

I thought I'd post some recent collaborations with my creative partner in crime/wifey Pamelove Muñoz. Not only is she my eagle-eyed quality control inspector, she has an almost supernatural gift for finding pricey vintage treasures at next to nada! Then she makes even cooler stuff with it.

This summer she has been hard at work making things for our daughter's 1st birthday party. We having many projects in the works, tables, tents, cake stands etc...but here are a few that have have been recently been deemed done...
